Torato

Terms of Use

Effective September 18, 2026

These terms govern your use of the Torato apps for iOS and Android, the torato.ai website including its forms and shared study pages, and the related services (together, the "Service"), operated by Torato LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("Torato," "we," "us"). By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you downloaded the app from the App Store, Apple's standard licensed application terms also apply; if you downloaded it from Google Play, Google Play's terms also apply. Where they conflict, these terms govern our relationship with you and the store's terms govern your use of the store.

The Service

Torato is a Bible reading and study aid. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple and Android devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use.

Accounts

You may use the Service without an account. If you create one, keep your credentials secure and give us accurate information. You can delete your account at any time in the app (About → Account → Delete Account). You must be at least 13 to create an account.

Community content and moderation

Sharing

Subscribers can share a study as a link. The link opens a public page on torato.ai that shows the passage, the question, and only an answer that has already been reviewed and approved; anyone with the link can view it. Share links are for personal, non-commercial sharing. You are responsible for whom you send a link to.

Subscriptions and purchases

Intellectual property

Scripture text is the World English Bible (Updated), which is in the public domain. Maps, reference works, the on-device model, and other third-party components are used under their own licenses — see Licenses & attribution. The app, its design, and its original content remain ours; these terms transfer no ownership to you.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any answer is accurate or complete.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of $50 or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these terms or threatens the Service or its users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination do.

Changes

We may update these terms; the effective date above will change and material changes will be flagged in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
