Video description (for screen readers and anyone who prefers text)

The film is silent and lasts 47 seconds. It opens on a deep navy background with John 3:16 in large serif type — “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only born Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.” A soft blue highlight sweeps slowly across the verse. A phone rises on the right showing the real app: the chapter of John 3 with verse 16 highlighted and the study drawer open beneath it. On the left: “Select any passage.” The phone changes to the open study drawer listing question cards — Historical Context, Define a word, “Who is Nicodemus, and why does it matter that this man came to Jesus ‘by night’?”, and more — and a blue ring marks a tap on the Nicodemus card. On the left: “Ask it a question.” The phone then shows the answer screen: the question, the passage, a “Reviewed study content” badge, the answer text, an “In the text” list and the start of the Supporting passages list. On the left: “Every answer cites Scripture.” The phone screen crossfades to the full Supporting passages list — John 3:1-2, John 3:10, John 7:50-51, John 19:39, each with an Open link — followed by Interpretation, Application and a gold “Answer from Cloud AI” box. The screen returns to navy with three lines: “Runs on your phone.”, “On-device answers never leave it.”, and in small gold capitals “Cloud AI when you want more.” The phone returns with the app’s historical map of Judea, Samaria and Galilee for John 3:1-8, beside the headline “See where it happened.” The film ends on the Torato icon — an open book with light rising from it — above the name “Torato”, the tagline “AI Study Bible”, and “Coming to iPhone and Android.”

Select any passage.

Tap a verse, or a run of verses in a chapter. Torato reads the passage the way you do — in its context — and prepares questions worth asking about it.

Ask it a question.

Every passage comes with study questions across observation, context, interpretation, connections and application. Pick one, define a word from the text, or ask your own.

Every answer cites Scripture.

Answers point back to the text. Each supporting passage is checked against the Bible before it is shown, and you can open any of them in place. When an answer has been reviewed by a pastor, it says so.

Private by design.

Torato runs a language model on your phone, so reading and studying need no account and no connection. On-device answers never leave the device. Cloud AI, an optional subscription, brings a larger model for deeper answers — the questions you type are used to answer them and are not stored.

See where it happened.

Ask about the historical setting and Torato shows a vetted map of the places in the passage — regions, roads and cities as they were — with a period atlas beneath.

Honest about AI.

Torato is a study aid, not an authority. Scripture is the authority; the app is built to keep sending you back to it. Answers can be wrong, so every claim carries its references and every supporting passage is verified against the text. Pastor-reviewed answers are marked, and reviewers are named. Personal guidance, dates for Christ’s return and questions outside Bible study are answered with the same fixed, careful replies every time.
